Our service

Belle Étoile connects families in Dubai with independent swimming coaches who teach children one-to-one at the family's own pool. Coaches are independent professionals, selected and managed for quality. We arrange the booking, the schedule and the follow-up; the coach delivers the lesson.

Booking and the free trial

Lessons are booked on WhatsApp. The first lesson is a free trial: your coach meets your child, checks the pool and finds their starting Wave. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.

The free trial is offered once per child.

Plans and payment

After the trial, we send you a recommended plan and the rates on WhatsApp. Your plan, price and payment terms are confirmed in writing before your first paid lesson, and lessons in a plan are paid in advance.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a lesson, and we will reschedule it at no cost.

A lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, counts as taken.

If your coach has to cancel, we reschedule the lesson at no cost to you.

We may move a lesson for safety reasons, such as lightning, extreme heat, a sandstorm or water that is not safe to swim in. These lessons are always rescheduled at no cost.

Safety and supervision

A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must be at home for the whole lesson. You stay responsible for your child before and after the lesson, and for any other children at the pool.

Please tell us before the first lesson about any medical condition, allergy, injury or fear of water that the coach should know about.

Your coach may delay, shorten or stop a lesson if they believe the pool, the weather or your child's condition makes it unsafe.

The pool

You confirm that you are allowed to use the pool for lessons, including any rules of your community or building for shared pools, and that the pool is clean, maintained and safe to enter and leave.

Photos and videos

Coaches do not take photos or videos of your child unless you ask them to or give clear permission. You are welcome to film your own child's lessons.

Responsibility

Coaches take every reasonable care, and safety comes before any skill. Swimming is a physical activity in water and carries some risk that no one can remove entirely. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited under UAE law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with its date at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
